Welcome to the lazy sundays blog!

For years, we at Lazy Sundays have floated the idea of creating a personal space to share our thoughts and interests online. And now, having been fortuitous enough to be granted a large chunk of free time to develop this site, we are excited to finally release the lazy sundays blog. Chiefly operated by Devin Toms and Jenny Leidig, the mission of this blog is to serve as a collective place for its contributors to share their individual interests in—among many things—games, music, film, art, and technology. Through this, we want to do our part in creating a space that pushes back against the commodification of the Internet towards something more honest, expressive, and open. While we do offer this platform as a collective, we want to assert that each individual contributors’ opinions are their own.

On principle, we will never ask you to pay for an article or harvest data for the purposes of profit. While individual contributors may link to avenues in which you may financially support them—and we do ask that you please support them if you are willing and able—their content on the site is and will forever remain free.

As with all software projects, this site is in a constant state of development and is subject to change. We will keep the status of the blog, as well as our development plans, public through various articles throughout the lifetime of the site. For specific development notes, please checkout the “Sunday Scoop” series of articles. Additionally, the version number of the blog can always be found in the footer. As of writing this post, we are currently in Version 0.1.0 of our service. We consider this to be the alpha release, or the soft launch, of the blog. With that being said, certain features of the website still remain to be implemented. If you have any feedback, questions, comments, or concerns, please do not hesitate to reach out to us via email.

Finally, we are nothing without our influences. Below, we would like to highlight some of our more direct inspirations that lead to the initial creation of the blog, as well as those that fueled our creativity during development:
